Do not operate the spraying system without fluid. Damage to the pump and other system components could occur.
A high-pressure spray can damage electrical seals, electrical connectors, and the electrical insulation. Avoid direct contact or close operation of the spray nozzle with the electrical components, the seals, and the electrical connectors.
Stop the machine on level ground. Stop the machine in an area away from the mat. If parking the machine on a grade is necessary, block the wheels securely. Note: Perform this operation spraying the paver finisher with properly mixed releasing agent. Consult the releasing agent supplier for proper mixing instructions. Use of diesel fuel to clean the paver is forbidden.Note: If the machine is being operated in freezing conditions, or the machine is being prepared for winter storage, replace the releasing agent with a recreational vehicle antifreeze. After replacing the releasing agent, spray the wand until antifreeze is present in the spray.Note: Check the fluid storage recommendations for freezing conditions from the wash down fluid supplier.

Retrieve the releasing agent spray jet from the storage point on the right access door, and retrieve the spray hose from beneath the right operator seat.

Install the releasing agent spray jet to the spray hose and connect the spray hose to connector (2) that is located on the releasing agent tank.
Grip the releasing agent spray jet and enable the spray system by pulling the switch (1).
Remove the securing lever on the grip and press the trigger in order to spray the releasing agent.
Spray all the machine parts which come into contact with the paving material, especially the hoppers, conveyors, augers, and screed.
When finished, push switch (1) in to turn off the system. Remove the releasing agent spray jet and hose from connector (2) on the releasing agent tank. Return the releasing agent spray jet and hose to the storage locations.
Failure to turn off the pump will cause the system to empty the contents of the wash down tank. Damage to the pump may result if the wash down tank is emptied.
