Position track idler (5) onto a suitable press. Use Tooling (D) and a suitable press in order to install bearing (10). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

Install duo-cone seal gp (8) into track idler (5). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Duo Cone Conventional Seals - Install".

Lubricate O-rings (9) with the lubricant that is being sealed. Install O-rings (9) onto shaft (4).
Install duo-cone seal gp (8) onto seal collar (7). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Duo Cone Conventional Seals - Install".
Install seal collar (7) onto shaft (4).
Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (6).

Install shaft (4) into track idler (5).

Install duo-cone seal gp (3) into the track idler. Install duo-cone seal gp (3) into seal collar (2). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Duo Cone Conventional Seals - Install".

Position track idler (5) onto a suitable press.
Position Tooling (E) onto track idler (5) and apply a slight pressure onto seal collar (2).
Use Tooling (A) in order to install retaining ring (1) onto shaft (4).

Remove plug (11) in order to fill front idler (5).
Fill the front track idler to the proper capacity. The capacity of single flange front track idler is approximately 349 mL 15 mL (12 oz .5 oz.) . Capacity of double flange front track idlers is approximately 354 mL 15 mL (12 oz .5 oz.). Capacity of triple flange is 225 mL 15 mL (8oz. .5 oz.)
Apply Tooling (G) to the threads on plug (11) and install the plug. End By:
Install the track idler.
