Description of Change: The original UPS System Controller Board has undergone some recent component enhancements which have necessitated that Caterpillar create two new and distinctive UPS System Controller Boards. The new UPS System Controller Boards are categorized for either Single Module Systems (SMS) or for Multi Module Systems (MMS).Adaptable To: The original UPS System Controller Board, 201-2187 Circuit Board As, has been cancelled from the Service Parts inventory and replaced by two new UPS System Controller Boards. Refer to Table 1. The new UPS System Controller Boards are currently available through your service parts system and are direct replacements for the 201-2187 Circuit Board As .As a reminder, when handling the UPS System Controller Boards please follow appropriate Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) handling procedures. The UPS System Controller Boards are ESD sensitive.The following table defines the serviceable UPS System Controller Boards that are now available.
