Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the injection actuation pressure control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Injection Actuation Pressure Control Valve - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Do not allow dirt to enter the fuel system. Thoroughly clean the area around a fuel system component that will be disconnected. Fit a suitable cover over disconnected fuel system component.
The plugs in the block assembly for the injection actuation pressure control valve and the plugs in the compensator should only be removed if the O-rings on the plugs need to be replaced. With the plugs removed the block assembly can also be cleaned internally. Disassembly of the injection actuation pressure control valve and the components of the valve assembly can cause the injection actuation pressure control valve to be out of alignment.

Remove four O-ring seals (4) from block assembly (2) for the injection actuation pressure control valve.
Remove two plugs (3) from compensator (1), if necessary.

Remove four O-ring seals (5).
Remove plug (6) from the compensator, if necessary.

Remove two plugs (7) from the block assembly, if necessary.
Remove plug (8) from the block assembly, if necessary.

Remove nut (11) and spacer (10) from injection actuation pressure control valve (9), if necessary.
Remove solenoid (9), if necessary.
