Remove six screws and access cover (1).
Remove two screws and filter cover (2). Remove air filter element (3).
Visually inspect the filter element before cleaning. Inspect the filter element for damage to the seal, the pleats, and the outer cover. Replace a damaged filter element with a new filter element.
Use low pressure compressed air in order to remove the dust from the dirty filter element. Air pressure must not exceed 207 kPa (30 psi). Take extreme care in order to avoid damage to the pleats. Note: When the filter elements are cleaned, always begin with the clean side (inside) in order to force dirt particles toward the dirty side (outside).
Install the clean filter element, filter cover, and access cover. Note: When a reduction of air circulation is noticed in the cab after cleaning the filter, install a new element.
