Removal Procedure
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the OFF position.

Open door (1) and door (2). Remove panel (3) .

Remove cover assembly (4) .

Remove guard (5) .

Remove belt (6). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace".

Disconnect cable assembly (7) and (8). Disconnect harness assembly (9) .

Remove bolt (10). Remove bolt (11). Remove alternator (12) .Installation Procedure

Install alternator (12). Install bolt (11). Install bolt (10) .

Connect harness assembly (9). Connect cable assembly (8) and (7) .

Install belt (6). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Replace".

Install panel (3). Close door (2) and door (1) .
Turn the battery disconnect switch into the ON position.
