(AA) 9X-8256 Washers .When the feed roller arms open, oil in the piston end of the feed roller arm cylinders flows through a hydraulic hose assembly to the bottom of lubrication pump (2) and (3). The pressurized oil forces a piston in lubrication pump (2) and (3) upward. When the pistons move upward, lubricating oil is pumped to the pivots of the feed roller arms.When the feed roller arms close, the hydraulic oil pressure on the piston is released. A spring in the oil pump forces the piston downward. The downward motion of the piston draws in oil from the lubrication tank on the harvester head. Washers (AA) can be added in order to reduce the oil flow of the lubrication pump.
