B 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound 1 Start By:
Remove the turbocharger.

Remove locknuts (2) and remove exhaust manifold assembly (1). Remove studs (3).

Remove gaskets (5). Remove studs (4).
Remove exhaust manifolds (6) and (8) from exhaust manifold (7). Installation Procedure
Install exhaust manifold assembly (1) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to the male ends of exhaust manifolds (6) and (8). Remove the excess tooling after installation into exhaust manifold (7).
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of studs (4) and (3). Tighten the studs to a torque of 35 5 N m (26 4 lb ft).
Install gaskets (5) so that the tabs are upwards.

Torque sequence for locknuts (2).
Tighten locknuts (2) to a torque of 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
