Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Note: Verify that all of the components of the brake cooling pump are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Position brake cooling pump (4) and the O-ring seal to the steering pump.
Install two bolts (5) and the washers that secure brake cooling pump (4) and the O-ring seal to the steering pump. Connect two hose assemblies (2) and (3) to brake cooling pump (4). Close the door assemblies behind the cab.

Replace two drain plugs (1). Tighten two drain plugs (1) to a torque of 68 7 N m (50 5 lb ft).
Fill the two hydraulic tanks for the steering and brake system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Steering and Brake System Oil - Change" for the correct procedure to fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" for the appropriate oil.
The capacity of the steering and brake hydraulic system is 267 L (70.5 US gal).End By:
Charge the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System - Pressure Release/Charge".
Separate the frame lock link. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Frame Lock Link - Separate and Connect".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
