Disconnect hose assembly (3).
Disconnect harness assembly (4).

Cut cable strap (6) that secures harness assembly (5) to the clip.
Cut cable strap (8) that secures harness assembly (7) to the clip.
Position harness assembly (5) and harness assembly (7) out of the way.

Remove bolt (9) and disconnect the three harness assemblies.
Remove bolt (10) and disconnect the ground strap.

Remove bolt (11) and the washer.
Remove six bolts (12) and the six washers.
Position hose assembly (13) out of the way.

Remove bolt (14) and the washer.

Remove two bolts (15), the two washers, the plate, and the clamps.
Remove bolt (17) and the washer. Position the hose assembly out of the way.
Remove bracket assembly (16).

Remove four bolts (18) and position filter assembly (19) out of the way.

Remove six bolts (20) and the six washers.

Remove six bolts (21), the six washers, and plate assembly (22) from generator and drive (23).

Disconnect hose assembly (24) from generator and drive (23).
Disconnect harness assembly (25) from generator and drive (23).

Disconnect harness assemblies (26) from generator and drive (23).

Disconnect hose assembly (27) from generator and drive (23).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to generator and drive (23). The weight of generator and drive (23) is approximately 318 kg (700 lb).
Remove 12 bolts (28) and the 12 washers.
Remove two bolts (29) and the two washers.
Remove generator and drive (23).Installation Procedure
Install generator and drive (23) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply a 3 1 mm (0.12 0.04 inch) bead of Tooling (B) to plate assembly (22) and bracket assembly (16) within 3 minutes of seal application.
Tighten six bolts (20) to a torque of 6 1 N m (53 9 lb in).
Tighten bolt (9) to a torque of 27 5 N m (239 44 lb in).
