Right Console (A) Warning Light For Low Hydraulic Tank PressureNote: Use a solution of soap and water when checking for air leaks. Drip the solution on connections that are suspect for air leaks. An air leak will form bubbles in the soap solution on the fitting or the connection.

Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to the appropriate Service Manual for your machine.
Remove pressure switch (5) from tee (1) .
Install pipe tee (4) in tee (1). Note: Remove the quick coupler from pressure sensor (6) .
Install pressure sensor (6) and pressure switch (5) in pipe tee (4). The pressure sensor (6) is part of the 198-4240 Digital Pressure Indicator .
Start the engine. Turn the engine speed dial switch to dial setting 10. Activate the implements and the controls in order to load the engine. The engine must be loaded in order to build turbocharger boost pressure for pressurizing the hydraulic tank. Several minutes may be needed in order to pressurize the hydraulic tank. Measure the pressure in the hydraulic tank. Refer to the appropriate Testing and Adjusting service manual for the adjustment procedure of the pressure regulator.The pressure should be 85 5 kPa (12.0 1.0 psi). Hydraulic tank pressure that meets this specification indicates that the pressure regulator is working correctly.Adjust pressure regulator (3) in order to meet the specified setting. Refer to the appropriate Testing and Adjusting service manual for your machine.Check The Breather

Start the engine. Turn the engine speed dial switch to dial setting 10. The breather should open if the tank pressure reaches 180 25 kPa (25 4 psi). Stop the engine. No air should leak from the breather.Note: The engine will need to be loaded by stalling an implement function in order to develop significant boost pressure. 180 kPa (25 psi) cannot be attained with engine boost alone. The pressure regulator limits the amount of turbocharger boost pressure that can enter the tank.Breather (C) should maintain hydraulic tank pressure until the pressure exceeds 180 25 kPa (25 4 psi). The vacuum relief should open between zero and -3.5 kPa (-0.50 psi). Proceed to the next check if the breather maintains the specified pressure.If the breather opened below the specified pressure, replace the breather. Install a new 191-5439 Relief Valve in place of the former 3G-4783 Breaker relief valve .Check The Filler
