of Change: Seal kits for hydraulic cylinders are now available for parts service. See (IRM) HYD84-2, dated July 3, 1984, for a complete list of parts. Formerly, when a hydraulic cylinder was rebuilt, each individual seal had to be identified and ordered. Now, only the cylinder group part number needs to be identified. This part number can be cross referenced to the seal kit part number.
The components of each seal kit will typically include the required piston rings, wear rings, cups, wipers, and special seals necessary to completely rebuild a single, cylinder.
The seals for the hydraulic cylinders can still be ordered individually.
