A 138-7575 Link Bracket 2 Note: Put identification marks on all lines, on all hoses, on all wires, and on all tubes for installation purposes. Plug all lines, hoses, and tubes. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Remove four bolts (1) and floor panel (2) from the machine. The weight of the floor panel is approximately 20 kg (45 lb).

Disconnect three wires (4) from the three solenoids.
Disconnect eight connectors (3) from the eight solenoids. Disconnect three ground wires (5). Move the wiring harness out of the way.

Disconnect ten hose assemblies (6) from the control valve. Remove the O-ring seals from the hose assemblies.

Disconnect eight hose assemblies (8). Remove the O-ring seals from the eight hose assemblies.
Remove three hose assemblies (7). Remove the O-ring seals from the three hose assemblies.

Use Tooling (A), chains and a suitable lifting device in order to support control valve (9).

Remove nuts (10) and the washers. The nuts are located under the control valve.
Remove the control valve. The weight of the control valve is approximately 84 kg (185 lb).
