Look inside the operator's compartment. The wiring harness for the parking brake is located on the left side of the seat. Remove the armrest and the access plate below the transmission and steering control. The wiring harness is at location (A) .

Install clip (1). It may be necessary to remove the ECM in order to access the bolt for the clip.

Install conduit (4) on the wiring for the reverse switch. Secure the conduit with cable straps (5). Mount connector (B) for the reverse switch on the clip. Secure the connector for the reverse switch with cable strap (6) .

Be sure that there is no interference between the cover plate and the former clip (2). If the former clip interferes, replace the former clip with the new clip.

Install conduit (3) on the harness for the parking brake switch (LC-6 connector). Attach cable strap (5) near the end of conduit (3). Use cable strap (6) to attach the connector and the harness to clip (2) .

Install conduit (4) on the harness for the shift control switch. Install cable straps (5) near each end of the conduit. Strap the connector for rotary sensor (E) and the connector for shift control (D) to the bracket. Use cable strap (6). Note that wires (C) may rub on the plastic tubing.

Pull down the tubing that covers the harness for rotary sensor (F) in order to protect wires (C) in Illustration 6.
