3. Remove four bolts (1) and two straps (2) to disconnect the center drive shaft from the yoke on the transfer gear case. 4. Remove four bolts (4) and two straps (5) to disconnect the center drive shaft from the yoke on the parking brake.5. Remove center drive shaft (3) from the machine. The following steps are for the installation of the center drive shaft.
Be sure the drive shaft yokes are positioned on the same center line with the center drive shaft.
6. Put center drive shaft (3) in position. Install straps (2) and (5) and bolts (1) and (4).7. Tighten bolts (1) and (4) to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft).8. Separate the steering frame lock link. See the topic, "Separate Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.
