Use Tooling (A) in order to install oil seal (13) in housing assembly (3).
Install plug (16).

Install shaft (9), thrust washers (8), and bolts (7) into housing (3).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install the rubber seal and ceramic seal (14) into housing (3). Note: Apply a light coat of Tooling (A) to the shaft chamfer and the seal running surface. Avoid the ceramic sealing surfaces.
Install ceramic seal (13), retainer assembly (12), and spring (11).
Lightly coat the shaft with clean engine oil prior to installation of impeller (10). Install impeller (10) to a depth of 0.00 0.15 mm (0.00000 0.00591 inch) with the end of shaft.

Lower temperature of bearing (11). Install bearing (11) in the housing assembly. Make sure that the oil hole in bearing (11) is aligned with the oil passage in housing assembly (X). Bearing (11) must be installed to a depth of 1.5 0.5 mm (0.02 0.02 inch). After assembly, the inner diameter of bearing (11) must be 75.000 0.055 mm (2.9527 0.0022 inch). (11).

Install plug (4), the O-ring seal, plug (5), and plug (6) into housing (3).

Lightly lubricate the seal groove in adapter (2) with clean engine oil. Install the O-ring seal in adapter (2). Install adapter (2) and bolts (1) onto housing (3). End By:
