Location of hydraulic tank
The hydraulic tank is located on the outside of the right side of the frame. The hydraulic tank supplies oil to the brakes, the brake cooling system, the hoist system, and the steering system. The hydraulic tank has three sections. There is a section for the steering and fan systems, the hoist and the brake oil cooling systems, and the brake system. An air breather for the hydraulic tank is located on the vertical frame member on the right side of the truck. The steering section and the section for the fan have an air breather. The air breather is located on the front side of the steering section of the tank.The hydraulic tank has five sight gauges. The top sight gauge is used for checking the oil level. The bottom sight gauge can be used when the hoist cylinders are in the raised position. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the hydraulic tank capacity and for the correct oil for the hydraulic tank.Tank Ports
