Removal Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove pate (1). Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove the straps and disconnect harness assembly (2).

Disconnect hose assemblies (3).

Loosen clamp (5) and disconnect hose (4). Loosen clamp (6) and disconnect hose (7).

Loosen clamp (9) and disconnect hose (8). Loosen clamp (10) and disconnect hose (11).

Remove bolts (15), washers (14), and mount assembly (12). Remove diesel exhaust fluid module (13).Installation Procedure
Install diesel exhaust fluid module (13) in the reverse order of removal.
