The vibratory system assists with the initial compaction of the asphalt mat during the paving operation. The vibratory pump provides the hydraulic oil flow that is needed to operate vibratory motors which are mounted on the screed. When the vibratory system is in operation, the vibratory motors rotate shafts with attached eccentric weights. The speed of the motor rotation determines the vibratory frequency. The vibratory system is designed to operate continuously when asphalt is being laid.Note: The North American version of the machine is equipped with a vibratory system. A tamper system is available for the European market. The machine will be equipped with either a vibratory system or a tamper system.
