Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Install O-ring seals (5) and backup ring (6) on valve cartridge (4).

Install valve cartridge (4) in valve body (1). Tighten the valve cartridge to a torque of 37 N m (27 lb ft).

Install coil (2) and nut (3) on the valve cartridge and valve body (1). Tighten the nut to a torque of 4 N m (35 lb in). End By:
Install the control valve (shift). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Control Valve (Shift) - Install".
