(1) Center Tread Idler (2) Adjustment Shim (3) Front Idler Bearing Block (4) Front Idler Bearing Block (7) Idler Cap Assembly (8) Idler Cap Assembly (9) Front Idler Mounting Bolt (11) Washer
Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the dowel pin holes on the front idler bearing blocks.
Select one front track frame and place one 12 mm (0.47 inch) adjustment shim (2) over each dowel pin on the front idler.
Install front idler bearing blocks (3) and (4) over the dowel pins. Make sure that you correctly position the idler bearing blocks.
Install Center Tread Idler (1) .
Install idler cap assemblies (7) and (8). Align the holes in the idler shaft with the spring pins in the cap assemblies.
Apply 4C-5593 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads of the front idler mounting bolts (9) .
Install four bolts (9) and four washers (11) in the front idler track assemblies (7) and (8) .Note: The idler bearing blocks and idler cap assemblies have a gap (U) on one side only. The other side is the abutment side. This side has no gap. Tighten the bolt on the abutment side (T) first. "TIGHTEN FIRST" is stamped on the abutment side of the cap
