Dealer Service Tools has released two spacers for use during the disassembly of SystemOne track. The 279-0092 Spacer is for use on the track for D8 Track-type Tractors. The 279-0095 Spacer is for use on the track for D3 through D7 Track-type Tractors. The spacers help keep the link in line if one bore releases from the pin before the other bore releases from the pin. When one bore releases early, the link often turns or bends. If the link begins to release from one bore, the technician can place the spacer over the contact removal tool. The spacer will prevent the link from turning or bending.
