Install O-ring (21).

Install pinion assembly (8) (not shown) into the end of axle housing (20). The weight of axle housing (20) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Ensure pinion assembly (8) is fitted into coupler (24) securely. Install bolts (19) and tighten to a torque of 130 N m (96 lb ft).

Lower the temperature and install bearing race (15) and bearing race (16).

Use Tooling (L) and a suitable press to install seal (17).
Install bearing (18).

Install hub (13) and bearing (14).

Install hub (12) into crown gear (10). Install retaining ring (11) into crown gear (10).

Install crown gear assembly (10) and bolts (9) onto axle housing (17). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 230 N m (170 lb ft)

Install pinion (8) and O-ring seal (7).

Install bearings (6) and gears (5).

Install washer (4) and bolt (3). Tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 79 N m (58 lb ft).

Install cover (2). Install set screws (1). Tighten set screws (1) to a torque of 25 N m (221 lb in).
Fill the differential with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)".
