Component Code(s) 5057SUBJECT: THE TUBE ASSEMBLY IN THE BOOM LINES GROUP MAY LEAK
HYDRUALIC FLUID ON CERTAIN EXCAVATORS
PROBLEM:
Reports indicate that the tube assembly in the boom lines group may crack and develop hydraulic fluid leaks. The tube assembly is used on machines that are configured for harvester applications.
SOLUTION:
If the 210-7295 Tube Assembly cracks and leaks hydraulic fluid, replace the tube assembly with a new 210-7295 Tube Assembly. A new welding process is now used for manufacturing the tube assemblies. The new process improves the reliability of the tube assemblies. The location of the tube assembly is shown in Illustration 1.
