Disassembly Procedure for the Hydraulic Track Adjuster on CIPI Undercarriage Arrangements which are Based on 330 and 330B Track Type Excavators
Start By:
Remove the hydraulic track adjuster. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic Track Adjuster - Remove" in this manual.
Thoroughly clean the outside of the hydraulic track adjuster prior to disassembly.

Attach a grease gun to fill valve (4). Pump grease through the fill valve and into cylinder (6) in order to remove piston (2). Remove the piston.
Remove the O-ring seals and the backup rings from the piston.
Remove the two bolts and stopper plate assembly (5) from cylinder (6). Remove relief valve (3) and fill valve (4) from the cylinder. Start By:
Disassemble the recoil spring. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Recoil Spring - Disassemble" in this manual.

Remove piston assembly (5) from cylinder (2) .
Remove lip type seal (6) from cylinder (2) .
Remove rod (1) from cylinder (2) .
Remove O-ring seal (3) and backup ring (4) from cylinder (2) .

Remove O-ring seals (9), rings (8) and rings (7) from the grooves in piston assembly (5) .

Remove bolts (11). Remove plate (10) .

Remove relief valve (12) .
Remove fill valve (13) .
