Adjustable Steering Column
The steering column is adjustable and has eight different positions. The steering column in the forward position gives easy access for the operator. Steering column release knob (1) is in front of the operator in the middle of the column. When the column is put in its most forward position it moves the transmission control lever to NEUTRAL. The column can be locked in this position.

The operator's seat has several controls for the adjustment of the seat.The suspension system is adjustable for an operator with a weight between 59 and 136 kg (130 and 300 lbs.). There is a total of 102 mm (4.0 in.) of movement in the suspension system. With the operator in the seat, turn knob (4) until the yellow pointer in tube (5) is even with the end of the tube.When lever (3) is pulled up, the seat can be moved forward or backward a total of 152 mm (6.0 in.) in 13 different positions.Lever (2) must be pushed down to adjust the height of the seat. There is a total of 76 mm (3.0 in.) of adjustment.There is a 5° adjustment of the seat cushion. The seat cushion tilt handle, for the adjustment of the seat cushion, is on the left hand side of the seat.The backrest can be adjusted a total of 10° in three different positions. To adjust the backrest, lift up on it, tilt it forward or backward, and then push down on it.The backrest can also be tilted all the way forward. To tilt the backrest forward, lift it up as far as it will go; then tilt it forward until it is horizontal.The right hand arm rest is fastened in place. The left hand arm rest can be tilted up to give the operator easier access to the seat.There is a compartment at the rear of the seat back for the storage of manuals, that can be locked. The seat also has snaps (fasteners) for an attachment snap-on cloth seat cover.

The pressurizer makes a supply of filtered (clean) air for the cab at a positive pressure to keep dust out of the cab. It is also the supply of air for the attachment heater and air conditioner.The pressurizer, including the filter, is on the top of the cab. The control for the pressurizer is above the operator's seat. It is a seven position switch. There are three positions, clockwise from the OFF position, that are for heat or vent. The filters for the pressurizer are also above the operator.

The air conditioner is on the top of the cab with the pressurizer. The air conditioned (cold, dry) air is sent through the pressurizer and into the cab. The temperature control (thermostat) for the air conditioner is above the operator's seat next to the
