Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the muffler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Muffler - Remove and Install".Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and plug all tube assemblies. This helps prevent fluid loss, and this helps keep contaminants from entering the system.

Remove tube assembly (1) and the gasket.
Remove tube assembly (4) and the gasket.
Remove muffler support (5). Remove coupling (3) from turbocharger (2) .

Disconnect pipe (7) from aftercooler (6) .

Loosen two hose clamps (9) .
Attach a suitable lifting device (8). Remove four bolts (10). Remove turbocharger (2) and pipe (7) as a unit. Remove gasket (11) .
Remove pipe (7) from turbocharger (2) .
