Information:
1. Remove two bolts (1) and the washers that hold the hydraulic track adjuster to the frame. Remove hydraulic track adjuster (2). The following steps are for the installation of the hydraulic track adjuster.2. Position hydraulic track adjuster (2) on the frame. Install bolts (1) that hold it.End By:a. install front idler and recoil springsDisassemble & Assemble Hydraulic Track Adjusters
Start By:a. remove hydraulic track adjusters 1. Remove shaft (1) from cylinder (2). 2. Remove two O-ring seals (3), two rings (4) and two rings (5) from the grooves in shaft (1). 3. If necessary, remove oil seal (6) from cylinder (2). The following steps are for the assembly of the hydraulic track adjuster.4. Thoroughly clean all of the parts of the hydraulic track adjuster prior to assembly. Check the condition of the O-ring seals (3), rings (4) and rings (5). If any of the components are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
To ensure correct operation of the hydraulic track adjuster, O-ring seals (3), rings (4) and rings (5) must be installed in the correct positions in the grooves in shaft (1).
5. Put clean 5P0960 Multipurpose Grease in the grooves in shaft assembly (1). Install O-ring seals (3), rings (4) and rings (5) in the grooves of the shaft as shown.6. Install oil seal (6) in cylinder (2). 7. Install shaft (1) in cylinder (2).End By:a. install front idlers and recoil springs
