Remove shim (13) from shaft (2) .

Remove rotating group (14) and shaft (2) from housing (3) .

Install rotating group (14) and Tooling (A) in a suitable press. Install a 6 mm bolt on the end of shaft (2) .Note: Shaft (2) must be pressed away from the sleeve (15) .Note: Shaft (2) must be supported in order to prevent damage.

Remove sleeve (15) from rotating group (14) .

Install shaft (2) and Tooling (A) into a suitable press.
Remove bearing cone (16) from shaft (2) .

Note: Take note of the holes in the top of swashplate (17) .
Remove swashplate (17) from the top of rotating group (14) .

Remove pistons and plate (18) from barrel assembly (19) .

Remove guide (20) from barrel assembly (19) .

Install Tooling (B) into barrel assembly (19) .
Tighten Tooling (B) in order to compress the spring in the barrel assembly.

Sudden release of spring force can cause injury.To prevent the possibility of injury, follow the procedure to relieve the spring pressure.
Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (21) from barrel assembly.
Slowly release the pressure on the spring.

Remove retaining ring (21), spring (22), washer (23), and pins (24) from the barrel.

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (25) from housing (3) .

Remove seal (26) from the housing.
Remove bearing cup (27) from the housing.
