BRACKET AS 1610373 - Caterpillar

1. Remove eight bolts (1) and washers.2. Remove cover (2). The filler assembly for rotor clutch (X) has been previously removed. 3. Remove eight bolts (3). Remove hose assembly (3A). Cap or plug immediately.4. Remove universal joint (4). Remove bracket (4A).
Bracket (4A) could fall through to the ground when cover (2) is removed and cause personal injury.
5. Loosen hose clamp (5), disconnect elbow (6) from turbocharger (7). 6. Loosen clamp (8) and disconnect elbow (9). 7. Remove four bolts (10) and washers. 8. Attach a strap and a suitable lifting device to air cleaner assembly (11). Remove air cleaner assembly (11). The weight of the air cleaner assembly is 27 kg (60 lb). 9. Disconnect six wire assemblies (12) from starter (13). Mark and identify for later installation. 10. Disconnect two electrical connections (14) and cut tie wrap (15). 11. Disconnect electrical connection (16). 12. Remove bolt (17), disconnect clip and wire assembly (18). 13. Remove two bolts (19) and washers. Remove clamp (20). 14. Disconnect three hose assemblies (21) from water spray pump (22). Cap or plug immediately. 15. Disconnect electrical connection (23) and cut tie wrap (24). 16. Disconnect electrical connection (25) and cable assembly (26) from alternator (27). 17. Remove bolt (28), washer and clip.18. Disconnect two hose assemblies (29). Cap or plug immediately. 19. Disconnect two wires (30).20. Remove bolt (31), washer and clip.21. Disconnect electrical connection (32). 22. Remove bolts (33) and washer. Disconnect ground cable (34). 23. Loosen two clamps (35). Disconnect two radiator tubes (36). 24. Remove six bolts (37) and washers.25. Remove three clamps (38) supporting radiator pipes (36). 26. Loosen two clamps (39).27. Remove radiator pipes (36). 28. Disconnect two hose assemblies (40). Cap or plug immediately. 29. Disconnect electrical connection (41). The photo is taken from the underside of the engine compartment. 30. Disconnect hose assembly (42). Cap or plug immediately. The photo is taken from the underside of the engine compartment. 31. Remove twelve bolts (43) and panel (44). This panel will allow access to the front of the engine. 32. Loosen clamp (45). Disconnect hose (46). 33. Disconnect electrical connection (47). 34. Disconnect hose assembly (48). Cap or plug immediately. 35. Loosen two bolts (49), lift hose (50) and bracket (51) out of slot (52). 36. Disconnect hose assembly (53). Cap or plug immediately. 37. Disconnect hose assembly (54). Cap or plug immediately. 38. Disconnect hose assembly (55). Cap or plug immediately. The photo is taken from the underside of the engine compartment. 39. Loosen clamp (56). Disconnect hose (57). Cap or plug immediately. The photo is taken from the underside of the engine compartment. 40. Remove four engine mount bolts (58), washers, plates, nuts and pads.41. Cut tie wrap (59). 42. Attach chains and a suitable lifting device to the engine lifting brackets as shown.43. Carefully lift the engine straight up (approximately 3 to 4 inches), making sure all the wires, hoses and connections are disconnected and are out of the way.44. Slowly lift the
