1. Remove clip (1) that holds hose to universal joint shield (2).2. Remove bolts (3) that hold drive shaft (4) to transmission and torque divider. Remove drive shaft (4).Install Front Drive Shaft
1. Install bolts (2) that hold drive shaft (1) to transmission and torque divider. Tighten bolts to a torque of 100 5 lb.ft. (135.6 6.8 N m).2. Install universal joint shield and clip that holds hose to universal joint shield.Remove Rear Drive Shaft
1. Make a support for rear drive shaft (1) with a floor jack.
Make sure drive shaft is carefully fastened to floor jack.
2. Remove bolts that hold rear drive shaft to transmission and differential. Remove the drive shaft. Weight of the drive shaft is 100 lb. (45 kg).Install Rear Drive Shaft
1. Make sure the rear drive shaft is carefully fastened to floor jack.2. Put the drive shaft in position between the transmission and differential. 3. Install the bolts (1) that hold the drive shaft to the differential and transmission. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 100 5 lb.ft. (135.6 6.8 N m).
