High Pressure Screen (2) Oil outlet passage. (3) Passage. (4) Passage. (5) Oil inlet passage. (6) Screen housing. (7) Screen assembly. (8) Drain Plug.The screens for the hydraulic system filter any debris that is in the hydraulic oil. The screens prevent a debris generating failure from contaminating the oil that is in the hydraulic system.During normal operation, the oil flows through screen assembly (7) to oil outlet passage (2) .Correct maintenance recommendations must be followed in order to ensure that the screen assembly does not become plugged with debris. If the screen assembly is plugged, the flow of oil to the high pressure system stops. The oil will not bypass the screen if the screen assembly is plugged.
