Location of the Hydraulic Oil Filter Hydraulic oil filter (23) is located above hydraulic tank (22) on the right side of the machine. Hydraulic oil filter (23) will filter the return line from the hydraulic fan system. Block Diagram for the Implement Electronic Control SystemThe implement electronic control module (ECM) electronically controls the hydraulic pilot valves for the bucket and auxiliary hydraulic attachments. The ECM responds to the operator control inputs. When the operator moves the implement control levers or the joystick control, the ECM activates the appropriate solenoid valves. The valves allow oil to flow to the corresponding main control valves. The main control valves control the lift cylinders, bucket cylinders, and hydraulic attachments.

Right Armrest That Is Equipped With A Joystick Control (30) Switch (hydraulic lockout). (33) Joystick Control.The machine may be equipped with an optional joystick control. The sensors for the joystick control are inputs to the ECM. The sensors continuously communicate the position of the joystick control to the ECM.The soft detents in the joystick control are not magnetic. The soft detents for the joystick control are controlled by the software within the implement (ECM). As the joystick control is moved into the detent position, the linkage will travel to a kickout position that is preprogrammed. The joystick should be released in order to automatically return to the HOLD position. The linkage movement will continue until the kickout is reached. Any 6° movement of the joystick control from the HOLD position will disable the soft detents. The soft detents will not be activated if the joystick control is held in the detent position for more that 1 second.The implement ECM (7) is located on the right side of the rear of the cab. The Full Rack Angle Control is a feature in the software that keeps the work tool from tilting back too far, when you raise the lift arms. This is accomplished by the ECM. The ECM reads the command from the operator. The ECM then compares the maximum allowable command that is based on the lift and tilt cylinder lengths with the command of the operator.
