2. Disconnect governor control linkage (1) at governor.3. Remove support assembly (2). 4. Remove four bolts (3), then remove aftercooler to turbocharger air pipe (4). Do Step 4 again for other side of aftercooler. 5. Remove all fuel line brackets and dampers (5) from the aftercooler housing. 6. Remove bolts (6), then remove two water line elbows (7). 7. Remove bolts (9) to remove aftercooler cover (8) and gasket. 8. Remove bolts (11), then remove aftercooler core (10).Install Aftercooler
1. Install new O-ring seals (1) on aftercooler water tubes. Install aftercooler core (2) with the bolts that hold it. Tighten bolts finger tight only. 2. Install an O-ring seal on each adapter (3). Put a small amount of clean oil on seals and the bores of each adapter. Install adapters (3). 3. Install water line elbows (5) with the bolts (4) that hold them. Tighten aftercooler core bolts. 4. Install a new gasket (7) on aftercooler. Install aftercooler cover (6) with the bolts that hold it. 5. Install fuel line brackets and dampers (9) on the aftercooler cover.6. Install aftercooler to turbocharger air pipe (8) with the four bolts that hold it. 7. Connect governor control linkage (10) to governor. Install support assembly (11).8. Check the cooling system for the correct level.
