Information:
1. Use a pry bar and move the brake shoes out and install bolts (1) as shown to hold the shoes in position. 2. Disconnect brake line (3) from the wheel cylinder. Remove two bolts (2) that hold the wheel cylinder to the backing plate. 3. Remove wheel cylinder (4) from the backing plate.Install Brake Wheel Cylinders
1. Put wheel cylinder (1) in position on the backing plate. 2. Install two bolts (2) that hold the wheel cylinder to the backing plate.3. Connect brake line (3) to the wheel cylinder. 4. Remove two bolts (4) that were used to hold the brake shoes apart.5. Remove the air from the hydraulic brake system. start by:a) remove wheel brake cylinder 1. Remove links (1) and (2) from each end of the wheel cylinder. 2. Remove straps (7), boots (6), pistons (5) and cups (3) from wheel cylinder (4).3. Remove spring (8) from the wheel cylinder.4. Inspect the bore of the wheel cylinder. Use a brake cylinder hone to remove any rough areas or corrosion in the wheel cylinder. If the bore has deep scratches, a replacement of the wheel cylinder is needed. When the hydraulic system is serviced, use caution to prevent introduction of foreign material into the brake fluid. Damage or worn rubber parts are an indication of other fluids in the system. Flush and clean the system with denatured alcohol or clean brake fluid.5. Put clean brake fluid on the inside parts of the wheel cylinder at assembly. 6. Install spring (8) in wheel cylinder (4).7. Install new cups (3) with the lip edge toward the spring as shown.8. Inspect pistons (5) for wear and make replacements if needed. Install pistons (5).9. Install new boots (6) on the wheel cylinder.10.
