Note: The purging of the air conditioning system is not required when hoses (77) and (78) are disconnected.
Mark air conditioning hoses (77) and (78) for installation purposes. Disconnect hoses (77) and (78) at the quick disconnect plugs.

Remove bolts (79) that hold bracket (81) to the radiator.
Remove bolt (80) from bracket (81) and from the fan guard. Remove bracket (81) .

Use two people to remove bolts (84) that hold bottom fan guard (82) and bottom fan guard (83) to the radiator.
Lower fan guards (82) and (83) as a unit onto the engine bottom guard. The weight of fan guards (82) and (83) as a unit is approximately 32 kg (70 lb).
