Remove the backhoe bucket linkage.

Release the hydraulic pressure.

Install the extendable stick in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the bolts sequentially and evenly. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 20 3 N m (177 27 lb in). Center the sliding section of the stick to the fixed section of the stick. Tighten the locknuts to a torque of 80 3 N m (59 2 lb ft). Extend and retract the extendable stick. Check for excessive clearances or judder, readjust if necessary.
