D11N Clutch/Brake Module with clips in place.11. Weld 9G9150 Clip to brake modules as shown using AWS ANiFe-Cl welding rod. On the D11N module, weld 7T1099 Link to right hand module only.
Typical Left Hand D9N and D10N Clutch/Brake Module.For D9N and D10N modules, secure the harness connection in 9G9150 Clip and route wire thru the 6.35 mm (.25 in) diameter hole drilled in the brake housing.
Typical D11N Clutch/Brake Module.For D11N modules, secure the harness assembly on the right hand module to the link with 1P4278 Clamp.12. Cut the wires to length. The wires should extend outside of the brake housing 20 cm (7.87 in). Assemble 7N7780 Pin, 7N7779 Socket, and 7N7937 Plug to end of wires.Insert pin and socket into housing (pin in hole 1, socket in hole 2) to match housing on ends of 8E7780 Harness Assembly. Check the entire length of harness to ensure that the wires are covered with shrink tube. Seal the holes at the point that the wires exit the housing with 8T9013 Sealant.* Check for continuity across pin and socket (sensor contacts are normally closed) to assure correct assembly.13. Remove the protective covers from the clutch/brake modules and install the clutch/brake modules and track. Refer to the Service Manual for the correct procedure to use.14. Remove the floorplate.
Relay mounting location.15. Assemble 3T2169 Relay to plate using 5S7349 Bolts, 8T4205 Washers, and 6V8185 Nuts. Secure the plate and relay to the bottom of the operators platform near the operators left foot using 8T9371 Bolt and 8T4896 Washer. Four weld bosses are provided on the bottom of the rail. The plate may have to share space with the fire suppression box or the overspeed control box.16. Route 8E7780 Harness Assembly along the left hand side of the manhole securing it to the existing harness. Use 3S2093 Wire Ties to secure the harness. Position 8E7780 Harness split (between the 2-pin connectors) near the left rear corner of the steer/brake control valve.* For the D11N, connect the harness from the sensor to the ends of 8E7780 Harness and lock with 3T3048 Clip Assembly.
Typical wire guard installation.* For the D9N and D10N, the Shur-Seal clip is welded to the inside of the fabricated wire guards. Connect the main harness to the sensor at that point and install the wire guards to the module using 7X0343 Bolts and 8T4122 Washers.
Relay secured with wire tie.Connect the relay to 8E7780 Harness, and secure with a wire tie.17. Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Grommet location in dash assembly.18. Remove the dash assembly from the platform. Remove the large rectangular grommet retaining the dash harness.19. Route new 8E7781 Harness Assembly from the bottom of the platform. Install 3T3045 Clip Assembly at the connection.20. Secure new harness to existing dash harness using 3S2093 Straps. Position the new ground wire breakout approximately 127 mm (5.0 in) above the rectangular grommet position.21. Install the new 9N4653 Rectangular Grommet (larger hole). If the tractor is not equipped with fire suppression, plug the extra hole
