(5) Solenoid valve for the rear ARC Diverter valve (2) for the front service brakes and diverter valve (3) for the rear service brakes are located on the rear of control valve (brake) (1). During the application of the service brake pedal, pilot pressure actuates diverter valve (2) and diverter valve (3).Oil flows from the service brake accumulator to the front service brakes and the rear service brakes. During retarding, the brake ECM commands brake solenoid (4) to direct oil to diverter valve (2). Diverter valve (2) directs oil from the service brake accumulator to the front service brakes. During retarding, the brake ECM also commands solenoid valve (5) to direct oil to diverter valve (3). Diverter valve (3) directs oil from the service brake accumulator to the rear service brakes.
