Disconnect all hose assemblies (16) that are routed to the boom.

Attach Tooling (A) and Tooling (B) to each side of the boom. Attach Tooling (B) and Tooling (C) to the end of the stick. Secure the bucket to the stick, as shown. Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and Tooling (C). Boom (17), the boom cylinder, the stick, the stick cylinder, the extendable stick, the extendable stick cylinder, the bucket linkage, and the bucket will be removed as a unit. The weight of Boom (17), the boom cylinder, the stick, the stick cylinder, the extendable stick, the extendable stick cylinder and the bucket linkage is approximately 1780 kg (3924 lb). This weight is not including the bucket. Note: The weight of boom (17), the boom cylinder, the stick, the stick cylinder, the extendable stick, the extendable stick cylinder, the bucket linkage, and the bucket will vary depending on the configuration of the hoe bucket.

Remove nut (19) and bolt (18). Remove pin (20). Repeat for the other side. Remove boom (17), the boom cylinder, the stick, the stick cylinder, the extendable stick, the extendable stick cylinder, the bucket linkage, and the bucket.

Remove nut (21) and bolt (22). Remove pin (23). Repeat for the other side.

Install pin (15) and install plate (14). Install bolt (13). Pin (15) and bolt (13) were removed previously. Install pin (20), bolt (18), and nut (19). Repeat for the other side. Attach a suitable lifting device to swing frame (24). The weight of swing frame (24) is approximately 210 kg (462 lb).

Remove nut (26) and bolt (25). Remove lower pin (27) from swing frame (24).

Remove bolt (28) and upper pin (29).

Remove swing frame (25). Washer (30) will be removed with swing frame (25). Washer (30) was located between the machine frame and the top hitch of the lower swing frame.

Use Tooling (D) in order to remove bearings (31) and (32).
