Position switch (15) at the bottom of the slots in bracket (9) . Orient lever (16) at a 45 degree angle from the top of the switch (15) . Position bracket (9) towards the rear of the truck.Note: Installing the bracket (9) , switch (15) , and lever (16) in this orientation ensures the lever (16) is not damaged during body installation.

Lower the temperature of bearing (14) . Use Tooling (E) in order to install bearing (14) .

Attach Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device to body and canopy (10) . The weight of body and canopy (10) is approximately 12,247 kg (27,000 lb).

Use a suitable lifting device in order to apply tension and support body and canopy (10) .
Position pin assembly (13) . Install block (12) and bolts (11) . Repeat this procedure for the other side. Remove Tooling (D) and the suitable lifting device.

Install bracket (9) . Refer to Testing and Adjusting, " Position Sensor (Dump Body) - Adjust" in order to adjust the body position switch.
Connect grease hose assembly (8) .

Install clamps (7) . Remove Tooling (C) from holding ejector assembly (6) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to hoist cylinder (1) .
Use Tooling (A) in order to position hoist cylinder (1) .

Install pin assembly (5) . Connect grease hose assembly (4) . Position plate (2) and install bolts (3) .
Repeat Steps 8 through 12 for the other side.
