Note: The rubber seals and all surfaces that make contact with the seals must be clean and dry. After installation of the seals, put clean SAE 30Woil on the contact surfaces of the metal seals.
Use Tooling (A) and install Duo-cone seal kit (9) (not shown) on hub (6) .

Install the three threaded rods of Tooling (B) in hub (6) (not shown). Position hub (7) with bearing (8) on hub (6) (not shown) and install retainer (5) and the three nuts of Tooling (B). Tighten the three nuts evenly until hub (7) and bearing (8) is seated. Remove Tooling (B) from hub (6) (not shown).

Install three bolts (4) through retainer (5). Install the retainer on hub (6) (not shown). Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 240 40 N m (177.0 30.0 lb ft).

Apply Tooling (C) to the face of hub (7) .

Attach the two straps to the arm assembly (1), as shown. Secure the other end to a suitable lifting device. Lift arm assembly (1) in position.

Install four bolts and washers (3). Install 16 bolts and washers (2) in arm assembly (1) .

Remove plug (11). Fill the arm assembly (1) with Tooling (D). Fill with oil until the oil level is at the bottom of plug hole. Check the O-ring seal on plug (11) for wear or damage. If necessary, replace the seal. Install plug (11) in the arm assembly (1) .End By:
Tension the belt. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Belt - Detension and Tension" for the machine that is being serviced.
Install the covers on the left side of the machine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Covers - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
