Improper operation of an access platform could result in injury or death.Operators must carry out their duties properly and follow all instructions and guidelines given for the machine and access platform.
This attachment must not carry more than two operators. The maximum weight carried on the attachment, including operators, tools and equipment must not exceed 250 kg (550 lb).Imposing excessive manual force on an access platform attachment could result in a tipping condition. This could result in personal injury or death. Manual force is defined as a force imposed on the access platform attachment by the operator pulling or pushing on an external object, or the access platform attachment contacting an external object. This access platform attachment must not be subjected to a manual force which is greater than 400 N (90 lb).
When an access platform is installed, operation of the boom can be transferred to the controls that are located on the access platform.Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7112, "Access Platform Control" for more information on the access platform.
