Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the parking brake. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Parking Brake - Remove".

Use a suitable pair of grips in order to remove retention spring (15).

Remove brake linings (21).

Remove nuts (1) and (2) and the three washers (3), (4) and (5) from center bolt (19). Note: Record the position of each washer on the center bolt. The records will aid assembly.
Withdraw lever (6) and boot (7) from center bolt (19).
Remove outer cam (8) and seal (9) from center bolt (19).
Remove ball assembly (10) and (11) from center bolt (19).
Use a suitable screwdriver in order to pry out the protrusion on the face of inner cam (12). The protrusions engage in slots in the face of torque plate (13). Remove inner cam (12) from center bolt (19).
Remove the two locknuts (18 ), two mounting bolts (17) and two sleeves (20) from the two torque plates (13) and (16).
Withdraw outer torque plate (13) from center bolt (19).
Remove two seals (14).
Withdraw inner torque plate (16) from center bolt (19).
