A FT-0120 Lifting Bracket 1 Start By:
Remove the starter.
Remove the flywheel. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Flywheel - Remove and Install" for the engine that is being serviced.

Remove bolts (2) and the washers that hold the oil pan plate to the flywheel housing. Loosen bolts (1) that hold the oil pan plate to the cylinder block.

Fasten a suitable lifting device and suitable lifting chains to the engine. Lift the engine and install shims (3) on each side of the engine between the cylinder block and the oil pan plate.

Remove drain tube assembly (4).

Fasten Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to flywheel housing (5).
Install two 1/2"-13 NC guide bolts (6) in the cylinder block, as shown.
Remove the bolts that hold flywheel housing (5) to the cylinder block. Remove flywheel housing (5). The weight of the flywheel housing is approximately 72 kg (160 lb).
