8B-7559 Adapter     1    Note: Verify that all of the components of the brake accumulator are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation.Note: Check all of the O-ring seals and the components for wear or damage. Replace the components, if necessary. Lubricate the O-ring seals lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Install wear ring (16) and two seal assemblies (17) to piston (15) .

Attach Tooling (A) to piston (15). Install piston (15) to accumulator assembly (5) .

Install O-ring seal (13) and ring (14) to head (9) .

Position head (9) to accumulator assembly (5). Install six bolts (12) that secure head (9) to accumulator assembly (5). Tighten six bolts (12) to a torque of 746 81 N m (550 60 lb ft).

Position cover assembly (11) to head (9). Install three bolts (10) and the washers that secure cover assembly (11) to head (9) .
Position adapter (8) to head (9). Install four bolts (7) that secure adapter (8) to head (9) .
Position tube assembly (2) and the seal to accumulator assembly (5). Install two bolts (6) and the washers that secure tube assembly (2) and the seal to accumulator assembly (5) .

Position manifold (3) and the rectangular seal to accumulator assembly (5). Install two bolts (4) and the washers that secure manifold (3) and the rectangular seal to accumulator assembly (5) .
Position tube assembly (2) and the seal to manifold (3). Install two bolts (1) and the washers that secure tube assembly (2) to manifold (3) .End By: Install the brake accumulator to the engine end frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Brake Accumulator - Install".
