If Equipped with HMU Steering
(1) Steering wheel
(2) Height control lever
(3) Tilt control leverSteering wheel (1) is located in front on the operator seat inside the cab of the machine. The steering wheel is the primary means of controlling the turning angle of the machine. The steering wheel has an adjustment feature for height and tilt.To adjust the height of steering wheel (1), rotate the steering column height control lever (2) counterclockwise. Rotate the lever clockwise to lock the steering wheel in the desired position.Note: The steering column height control lever (2) is shown in the LOCKED position. To adjust the tilt angle of the steering column, push the steering column tilt control lever (3) inward and move the steering column to the desired position. When the steering column tilt control lever is released, the steering wheel will remain in the desired position.

If Equipped with E/H Steering
(4) Left JoystickLeft joystick (4) is located in front of the left armrest. This joystick operates the machine steering system when the machine is equipped with the high rotation seat.Left joystick (4) is a single-axis joystick that controls the position and operation of the steering cylinders. The joystick only functions when the seat is locked in a direction position, and the armrest is down. If the seat is in transition, the steering system is locked out and the joystick does not function. When the seat is locked in either seat position, moving the joystick steers the machine in the corresponding direction, as per the operator view of the machine.

(5) Armrest position switchWhen the joystick steering is installed, an armrest position switch (5) is located under the left armrest. The switch is accessed from inside the cab.The implement ECM monitors both the normally closed circuit and the normally open circuit of armrest position switch (5). When the armrest is lowered, a ground signal is sent to the ECM through the normally closed circuit. In this case, the steering system operates normally. When the armrest is raised, a ground signal is sent to the ECM through the normally open circuit. In this case, the steering system does not operate.Note: If the armrest is raised while machine speed is greater than zero, the joystick continues to operate the steering system.
