225B (2ZD) ExcavatorsA new upper frame is now available for parts service. The new 9U4360 Frame Assembly was designed from current production frames to accept the "B" style cab and either the original pump drive or current flywheel housing mounted engine mounts. The frame will also mount the former, smaller fuel tank. The frame will include current production boom pins and boom cylinder pins.
The 9U4360 Frame Assembly may require some rework to the grease pan assembly. The 8V8318, 6W6020, 9C3400 and 9C4567 Frame Assemblies use the 8V8301 Cover (grease pan). This cover must be reworked to move the access hole in line with the access position in the 8R6024 Frame or use the 8R6677 Cover.
