C 136-1452 Retaining Ring Pliers As 1 Start By:
Remove axle shaft.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove two bolts (1). Insert Tooling (A). Remove remaining bolts (1). Slide final drive assembly (2) onto Tooling (A). Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to final drive assembly (2). The weight of final drive assembly (2) is approximately 60 kg (130 lb).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (3). Use two people in order to remove ring gear (4). The weight of ring gear (4) is approximately 22 kg (48 lb). Installation Procedure
Install final drive assembly (2) in the reverse order of removal.
