Refer to the machine electrical schematic for detailed wiring information.Machine ECM (1) controls the enabling function of the generator. When the engine is running, the electronic control system enables the screed heat switch on operator display (2).If the screed heat switch is activated, operator display (2) transmits a request to machine ECM (1) to enable generator (5). The machine ECM increases the engine speed to a predetermined value that supports loading the generator. When the required engine speed is reached, the ECM enables the generator to supply high voltage (220v) power. This power is provided to screed head system (3) and accessory power connector (4) (if equipped).Note: The engine speed for loading the generator is programmed in ET based on the regional location of the machine. For regions requiring a generator frequency of 50Hz, set the engine speed to 1500 rpm. For regions requiring a generator frequency of 60Hz, set the engine speed to 1800 rpm.
